Microgeneration
Go Green with ELECSA! Already known for its electrical Part P self-certification scheme, ELECSA is proud to launch its Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) scheme. Technologies that generate heat or power (or both) will play a key part in helping the UK meet its targets in carbon emission reduction and dependencies on fossil fuels. If you currently supply, design and install such Microgeneration systems then you may want to consider joining the ELECSA Microgeneration Certification Scheme. The scheme is supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change and is designed to certify microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. The MCS scheme has an independent set of standards for assessment and requires registration with a compliant consumer code of practice. Information about the consumer code of conduct and the assessment standards and criteria for this scheme are available through the Microgeneration Certification Scheme website for you to download and review.
